November is a big month for Gatlinburg, starting with the zenith bloom of the fall colors and into the big Chili Cook-off and into Thanksgiving weekend.
We have a lot of returning events this year, like the perennial favorite, the Festival of Trees (www.festivaloftrees.com), alongside the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community Holiday Show and the Nutcracker "Sweet" all throughout the weekend at the H.L. Mills auditorium in downtown Gatlinburg. The trolleys are doing more tours of the lights throughout the city and the Gatlinburg Thanksgiving Bowl (football tournament) is back for its 38th year (!) up in Mills Park near Gatlinburg Pittman High School.

And Mountain Laurel, as always is your home away from home as you take in all the excitement of the start of the holidays. Nothing capitalizes on a Smoky Mountain vacation like waking up in a luxury chalet on a gorgeous mountain, taking the day out to enjoy the holidays and then coming back to luxury as the sun sets in the gorgeous views our chalets offer on Ski Mountain Road.
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Mountain Laurel!
